Located in the charming Quinta da Marinha, which sits in the Sintra-Cascais Natural park, Light Villa enjoys a much-coveted postcode.
Quinta da Marinha is one of the most sought after locations in the whole of Cascais, featuring the world-renowned Oitavos golf course, gorgeous Atlantic views, and many chic restaurants located in the nearby Casa da Guia area.
Just 5 minutes from the Cascais Marina, the opportunity for an evening stroll or a day-time bike ride with the kids, cannot be overlooked. There is also a local gym featuring state of the art equipment for those looking for a more active stay. The villa itself is light, bright and spacious, with wooden flooring and soft interiors to create a spacious and relaxing feel as soon as you enter. The main living area is open plan with large sofas grouped around a central fire place positioned below a large flat-screen TV. The walls all feature large sliding doors which lead onto the luscious garden and pool outside, covered with billowing white curtains in case you wish to block out the world outside.
The entire villa is fitted with air conditioning units. A spacious dining area is located in one corner of the living room, with seating for everyone.
There is also a main island in the kitchen, providing the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a croissant in the morning before a long day of golf or kicking back by the pool. Light Villa boasts four luxurious bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathrooms and fabulous views of the foliage outside. Two rooms have lush king-size beds that will leave you never wanting to get up. The other two have separate queen-size beds, meaning everyone can have a spacious and relaxing stay. Beige and cream rugs adorn the wood-panelled flooring, adding a cosy feel to the bedrooms. The master bedroom also has a flat-screen TV on the wall opposite the bed and abundance of cupboard space.
The outdoors of Light Villa are as impressive as the inside with a luscious green lawn feeding into the deliciously cool swimming pool, offering the perfect respite from the hot Portuguese sunshine.
The garden is bordered by trees in order to create privacy for you and your guests and there are sunbeds for the whole party. Outdoor seating is also positioned on the terrace beneath an umbrella, meaning that those people who aren't so keen on the sun always have a place to kick back and enjoy a book. Just a stone's throw from one of the most talked about golf courses, situated in its own private Eden of shrubbery, a stay at Light Villa will be one you won't forget.
