Country house with private pool and panoramic views, Mallorca
Can Pessal is located in the southeast of Mallorca, amid beautiful countryside near the small village of Es Carritxó. The larger towns of Felanitx and Santanyí can be reached within a 10-minute drive, as can Cala d'Or, a well-known tourist destination by the sea.
This traditional finca was completely renovated during the winter of 2007/08 and transformed into a charming holiday retreat. The result is a tasteful combination of original features and modern design. In the main house, the entrance hall has been converted into a dining area, creating an impressive blend of old and new. The small but fully equipped kitchen is located right next to it. An open archway leads into the spacious and comfortably furnished living room, which features a cast-iron wood-burning stove for cooler days and a panoramic window offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
French doors provide direct access from the living room to the terrace with a large dining table. Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with two single beds and a small bathroom with a shower.
A staircase leads from the dining room to the upper floor, which features a designer bathroom decorated entirely in blue with a shower, an antique double bedroom, a modern twin bedroom, and a small single bedroom. A sun terrace overlooking part of the property invites guests to relax.
Next to the pool is a smaller building housing a modern double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. A large panoramic window offers views over the pool and the rolling countryside. This building also contains, with a separate entrance, the laundry room and a toilet located directly beside the pool.
Air conditioning is available in the upper hallway as well as in the external bedroom and can be used during the following hours: 14:00-16:00 and 22:00-09:00.
Pine trees provide welcome shade over the terrace and barbecue area. A variety of citrus trees can be found near the pool, while colorful flowers, fruit trees, and Mediterranean plants are lovingly arranged throughout the property. Beautiful views of the rolling Mallorcan countryside create a truly relaxing atmosphere. For more active moments, a volleyball court is also available. VT-1608 // Reg.
